A project (finally dropped) was supposed to end with the development of a colorimetric tool. This work was pursued in cooperation with one IT company and an enterprise from the paint market. My aim was to aid in development of a software that would indicate which pigments need to be mixed in order to obtain the paint color as indicated by a spectroscopic measurement. This is a standard problem, still studied by few big enterprises in the world. It ended only in development of an initial software that was determing colorimetric parameters basing on measured spectra of light reflection from different samples, using an XRite spectrometer.
